"Melina" was major pointed towards her championship as a puppy and was finished by 21 months of age. She has been shown as a special a few times, with a Group placement, Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex Awards (including BOS at the Des Moines Specialty). Carl and her obtained their TD on the first try and the TDX on their third try (2-28-10). She will spending the summer training in field work, in hopes to also obtain a Versatility Title. Her offspring starting the make a name for themselves. Hillside What Dreams are Made Of (Boyer/Rosenkoetter) won the Novice Dog Class at the 2009 National. Melina also has pointed, tracking titled and Rally titled kids with more to come. Melina has been retired to live with our son, Andrew.
